This year’s Ironman promises to be another spectacular sporting
event in Cabo.
With over 1500 participants registered, from over 25
countries, it really feels like a big international competition.
Athletes will begin with a 2.4-mile swim in the Sea of
Cortes. They'll then bike 112 miles and run 26.2 miles along a 20-mile corridor
between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. Where views of rugged cliffs,
deserts and mountains make the race unmistakably unique.
Over 8000 visitors are expected in total and all the
bars, restaurant and hotels are hoping for a very busy weekend. Tourist service
providers, the Ministry of Tourism and the State Government have been working
together to ensure a fantastic experience for athletes and visitors alike.

As part of the world circuit IRONMAN Los Cabos offers 40
qualifying slots to the 2016 IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
