With the tourist season now in full swing it looks like a
great year for Cabo.
In January alone air flight passengers were up over 20% on
last year. Cruise ship numbers are also up - with 208 arrivals already
scheduled and likely to bring almost half a million visitors.
And Cabo’s Secretary of State for Tourism, Genaro Ruiz,
today reported that 13 new hotels, with approximately 2500 rooms, are due to
open this year.
All these developments will generate significant economic benefit
to the local economy. And to be listed by USA Today as one of the top spring
break destinations for young Americans is a fantastic endorsement for Cabo as favourite
tourist hot spot.
