Summer has definitely arrived in Cabo - the sun is shining, and
the schools are out.
Temperatures are rising and hotel reservations are almost
as high. With a 68% rise reported across the state of Baja California Sur – things are going to get busy in the Baja.
Official figures have estimated average hotel occupancy
of 72% in Cabo, 62% in La Paz, and over 50% in Loreto.
Definitely
not the levels associated with an off season, comments Genaro Ruiz Secretary of
Tourism BCS - “we will have a summer
with occupancy levels above 70 percent, which is extraordinary for Los Cabos in
the domestic market". And there is
no doubt this will have a positive spin off on all other tourist services in
the area.
Best get
those bookings made now - looks like a long, hot busy summer in Cabo.
