Big excitement today as 64 former and current NFL players
arrive in Cabo to kick off the first Baja Athletic Conference.
An action-packed schedule of golf, fishing and memorabilia
signings will give fans a once in a lifetime chance to hang out with their football
heroes.
The memorabilia and signings will be hosted by The Cabo
Del Mar Village and started at 10am this morning. Players will be available for
autographs in 3 blocks. 11:30am-2:30pm,
2:45-4:45pm and finally from 5-7pm.
The Golf Tournament, tomorrow, will be held at the world-famous
Diamante Golf Course. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to mingle and golf
with the NFL players.
And once again on Sunday, fans will have the opportunity to
fish alongside their football greats.
All winnings from the golf and
fishing competitions will be donated to the players chosen charities.
The whole point of the conference is to encourage more
sports tourism throughout Baja California, especially Cabo, which has a growing
reputation for international sporting events. And there is a huge appetite for NFL
in Cabo.
