This weekend’s half marathon proved to be a huge success with over 1800 participants across 5 categories.
It was the fourth time the race has taken place and record numbers of both local and foreign athletes took part. With almost 500 runners coming from the US and Canada indicating a rise of almost 200% in foreign runners.
The race is rapidly becoming known as one of the best to run in winter and follows one of Mexico’s most spectacular
scenic routes.
First place was taken by Kenyna athlete Elisha Korir, with BCS’s well known young athlete, Luis Alejandro García Rangel, coming in a very proud second.
