Fishing is always fun in Cabo. But it gets really
exciting in October with no less than 3 big tournaments taking place.
The first of these is the famous Los Cabos Billfish
Tournament on 11-15th October which kicks off Cabo’s legendary
Billfish season.
Anglers will be coming from far and wide to compete for
the biggest blue, black and striped marlin, tuna, dorado and wahoo.
With $750, 000 in cash prizes it has the highest angler
payout percentage of any Cabo tournament.
The gala kickoff party will be held at Playa Grande on
October 11.
This is followed by three days of furious competitive team
fishing on the 12-14th. Boats leave from both Cabo San Lucas Marina
or Puerto Los Cabos. And all weigh-ins and billfish release will be at the
Marina Fundadores weigh station.
And to wrap up this major event the Gala Awards Banquet
will also be hosted at Playa Grande Resort.
