Beautiful new photography and footage shows the Gulf of California's Wildlife in previously unseen glory.
BBC Earth, part of the British Broadcasting Corporation, recently released this incredible footage of the beauty that surrounds Baja California Sur.
The Gulf of California is the body of water that separates the Baja California Peninsula from mainland Mexico, and incredibly it is home to approximately one third of all of the marine mammal species on earth. It is also one of the last natural habitats for the majestic Blue Whale - the largest animal ever to exist.
