The First Baja International Film Festival (BIFF) a Complete Success

The Baja International Film Festival started out Thursday night in royal fashion and continued to amaze everyone present with their unique touches of extravagance and style with a Thursday night outdoor screening at the Wirikuta Cactus Nursery grounds at Puerto Los Cabos of the Mexican film, ''Hecho En Mexico'' which many commented was akin to a lengthy tourism video of Mexico. The seemingly endless tasty hors d'oeuvres, food and hosted cold beers and succulent wine complimented the ambitious efforts put on by festival organizers which included live music and friendly gathering of such noteworthy stars like Edward Norton, Esai Morales, Jacob Vargas, and the animation creative genius of Mike Judge (King of the Hill, Beavis and Butthead) and an array of producers, directors, actors and film aficionados which all marveled at the wonderful first time event in San Jose del Cabo brought to everyone by Eduardo Sanchez Navarro, Steve and Sean Cross, and their group of tremendous staff. ''I have never attended a festival quite like this,'' said Steve Acevedo, director of the International short, ''Crocodilo'' starring Jacob Vargas. ''This was pretty cool. My first time in Cabo and I liked it very much.''....
