The 3 day event is the largest
and longest-running trade and consumer travel show in North America. This year
attendance was up by 20 % - so it was
definitely the right time to be there.
Gerbaro Ruiz, the State Tourism Secretary, said it was a fantastic opportunity for Baja Caifornia Sur to promote everything on offer to tourists in the region. From sun and beach tourism, to nature and adventure activities, golfing and game fishing, and cultural or luxury breaks.
Baja Califoria Sur took an exhibition stand and worked hard to highlight the increasingly wide range of tourist attractions on offer. And now with direct flights every Saturday from New York, Los Cabos becomes an even more tempting destination.
Representatives from a variety of Los Cabos hotel and tourist businesses reported a high level of interest. They enthusiastically advised all potential visitors and industry professionals on destinations, flight connections, hotel options, local attractions and activities. As always, nature tourism, especially whale watching, was a big pull for both potential and return visitors.
