win a total of 7 awards at World Travel Awards Latin America 2016
Huge success for Cabo hotels as they pick up 7 awards at
this year’s World Travel Awards Latin America Gala Ceremony. The event took
place in Lima, Peru on Friday night.

Not only did Loreto’s Villa del Palmar maintain their position as “Mexico’s
leading Beach Resort 2016”. But they also won a second, grander title as
“Mexico and Central America’s leading Beach Resort”.
And they weren’t the only hotel to walk away with two awards.
Cabo’s One & Only Palmilla also won in both categories - Mexico's Leading
Spa Resort 2016, and Mexico & Central America's Leading Spa Resort 2016.
Already an impressive list but
that wasn’t all. Cabo’s Mar Dentro walked away with Mexico’s Leading Hotel Residence
2016; JW Marriot Los Cabos bagged Mexico’s Leading Resort 2016; and La Casa Que Canta won Mexico’s Leading Boutique Hotel 2016.
Today, the World Travel Awards brand is recognised
globally as the ultimate hallmark of quality, with winners setting the
benchmark to which all others aspire. They will bring a lot of prestige to both
Cabo and Loreto, helping to consolidate Baja California Sur as a luxury
destination both nationally and internationally.
World Travel Awards President Graham
Cooke said: “We have seen the best hotels, airlines, tourist boards and
hospitality brands recognised by voters from around the globe and it is an
honour to present them with prestigious World Travel Awards trophies this
evening.”
He added: “All the winners from this evening will now
move forward to the World Travel Awards Grand Final, this year taking place in
Maldives, where we will recognise our global winners.”
