Redrum Feb 24th to March 2nd 2013

February 24th and 25th 2013 After such a good couple of days looks like there is a bit of a slow down, or not, or there is…. well, you decide! Todd Narlinger and buddies went out on Tantrum for a full day to celebrate Todd’s 40th, Happy birthday!! They caught a huge Wahoo that weighed in around 55lbs. Ron Volkmann and his crew were back at it again on Sunday, this time aboard El Nuevo. they had a good day, boating 4 Yellowfin Tuna. Luis Zumaeta and his buddies were out for a second time aboard 19′s Toy and ReelRum. They caught a Yellowfin Tuna on the ReelRum, 2 Dorado and 2 Yellowfin on 19′s Toy. Tom Rostron and his wife went out on RedRum for the full day, unfortunately when they got about 25 miles off shore, with 2 Skipjack in the boat, the wife got seasick and they had to head home. He headed out again by himself this time on Monday aboard one of our partner boats. He ended up having a super Make-up day, catching a ton of Dorado, he said about 20 and a large Striped Marlin, about 180lbs, he said he would send a pic, the Marlin really was huge! Jason Langen helped put together a fishing trip for his buddy, Ryan Martin, who is getting married here on Wednesday. These guys were rarin’ to go this morning with everybody excited to catch some fish. They went out on 3 boats, RumRunnin, RedRum and Tantrum. RumRunnin had a good day, catching 2 Yellowfin & 2 Dorado. RedRum boated 4 Yellowfin, and, well, not sure what happened with our Tantrum boat, but those guys came back empty – handed I sure hope they are satisfied with all their buddies fish stories! Robert and Agapito Innamorati along with Drew Poslock and Russell Jenkins headed out for a full day aboard El Nuevo. They wanted to try for the Tuna, unfortunately when they were about 26 miles out, they had to head back due to sea sickness. Right now, we have some good fishing along the inshore, if you feel you might be prone to sea-sickness, play it safe, stay along the shore! We sure do hate to see our customers come back with no fish and sea sick….. Veteran RedRum Fisherman Doug Dollhopf and Roger Bartz enjoyed a full day with Ramon and Julian aboard ReelRum. They caught a Yellowfin Tuna. So what do you guys think, some good, some not so good, but not at all bad!! Thanks for reading, Tiffany February 26th 2013 Hey guys, we had another great day out there today, still would never know we are at the end of February! Steven and Stacy Pierson along with Mat and Bridgette Ponto headed out on RedRum for a full day of fishing with Captain Omar and Mate Noe. They had a great day, boating 6 Yellowfin Tuna. Gary Hutchinson headed out solo aboard Tantrum with Captain Juan and mate Christian. He had an AWESOME day catching 14 Dorado, all on his own, most of the fish were released. Andrew and Kelley Griggs also had a super day aboard ReelRum. They caught 9 Yellowfin Tuna and a nice size Wahoo. Steve and Sarah Carey shared a boat with David and Amy Turissini. They enjoyed their day aboard RumRunnin with the double Jesus’s catching 7 Dorado and releasing 3 Bonita. Pat Welty, Dave Pearl and Greg Preusse all boarded El Nuevo RedRum for the day with Jesus and Alonso. They had a ggod day catching Dorado, Skipjack and a Pacific Pompano. I sure hope this good bite sticks around and there is no lull in the action at all this year!! Thanks for reading guys! Tiffany March 1st and 2nd 2013 March is here and the fishing is still great, maybe we will have a great year and the water will never get too cold!! Dave Valetta, Don Freeman, Michael Knight and Bill Baxter headed out on El Nuevo RedRum with Captain Alex and Mate Jesus. They had a lot of fun on the boat catching 9 Dorado and some Skipjack. Randy Baker, David Sexton, Mike Marble and Jim Kunz were off on RedRum for a half day with Omar and Noe. They had a great 5 hours on the water, boating 12 Yellowfin Tuna. Ian Young, David Lam, Max Gostromelskiy and Joe Wong were out on Tantrum for a full day with captain Juan and Mate Christian. These guys had a lot of fun catching 8 Yellowfin Tuna. Gary, Debbie and Dave Martin along with Richard Wadefished aboard RumRunnin for a full day with the Jesus’s. They had an awesome day, catching 13 Yellofin Tuna a Dorado and Richard caught and released a Striped Marlin, his first ever Billfish. Bill Ackerman and his crew were aboard the Marlin Queen for a full day charter with Dani and Chito. They had an awesome day catching their limit in Yellofin Tuna and a Dorado. Eric Carino and his crew were in a little later than normal this Saturday morning. They headed out on Colleen’s Magic and headed back almost as quick due to sea sickness We hate that they did not get to enjoy their day on the water. Kelly Hudson, Francis Lott, Eric Griffith, Matt Garza and Jimmy Yarborough boarded 19′s Toy for a full day with Captain Gaba. They caught 24 Yellowfin Tuna and 3 Dorado. Sunday Jerry and George Lin along with Weijay Wang, Wei Tao Huang and David Hsu were out on RumRunnin for the day with Catain Jesus and Christian. They had a good day with David catching and releasing a Striped Marlin and catching 2 more Dorado.
