Cabo Fishing Report | Redrum Dec 22

December 22 Cabo San Lucas Fish Report – Dec. 19-21 END OF THE WORLD???? We don’t think so….. Thank goodness, because the fishing has been great the past few days! We are still catching Dorado and Striped Marlin closer to the shore up by Los Arcos. Yellowfin Tuna have now pushed their way out past the lighthouse about 30-35 miles. Scott Friendship and his crew headed out on El Nuevo for the day with Captain Alex and Mate Jesus 2. They had a good day boating 2 Dorado and 3 Yellowfin Tuna. Ryan and Randy Moore were out on RedRum for the day with Omar and Noe. They caught 4 Dorado and released a Striped Marlin. Martin and Chris Frederick had a good day aboard Tantrum with Juan and Christian. They caught 6 Dorado. Gerald Poganski, I Jin Lee and Ray Stanchfield went out on RumRunnin for the day. They had an amazing day, catching 2 Dorado and releasing 4 Striped Marlin!! Now that is a catch! Even Blankenship and Karrie and Donita Damm were back at it again aboard ReelRum still looking for some Yellowfin, they were in luck, they caught 5 Yellowfin in all. They fished again on Friday and each one caught and released a Striped Marlin. What a great trip these guys had!! Thursday, Stacey, Khoa and Alyssa Nguyen fished on RedRum. They had a great day catching 2 Dorado, 2 Yellowfin and releasing a Striped Marlin. Lore Kaake, Wade Pylka and the Rasdorf’s headed out on RumRunnin for the day. They had good luck with the Dorado boating 5 in all. Luis Llamas and Frances Martinez fished out on El Nuevo for the day. They did a great job, catching 6 Dorado and releasing a Striped Marlin. Alan Nichols, Terry Reedy, Erik Michael and Wade White boarded one of our Partner boats, Angelina for the day and caught 2 Yellowfin, a Dorado and released a Sailfish. John Kissler and Mark Cunningham joined up for the second time on a shared charter aboard Tantrum. They had another good day out there catching 6 Dorado and a Wahoo. Nicolas Byrne and Lauren Sestrich boarded ReelRum for the day on Thursday and caught 4 Dorado. The boss John Donovan and our own Mechanic Rene went out looking for some fish to eat and had plenty of luck, catching 2 Wahoo and 6 Dorado. Check ‘em out below! Monica Bellot and Louis Angelou were out on El Nuevo for the day. They had a great time, catching 3 Dorado and releasing a Striped Marlin. Last but not least, we had Tim Hesbeens and buddy Sean Creighton aboard Tantrum for the day with Juan and Christian. They had a stellar day, catching 6 Dorado and releasing 3 Striped Marlin. So, we have had a great few days, thank goodness world did not end just because the Mayan calendar did or we would not have seen this great fishing! Thanks for reading my friends! Tiffany December 23 Cabo San Lucas Fish Report Weekend Edition……….. It is another beautiful weekend in Cabo and Santa is making his way to town! The fishing has remained good except for one lone boat Tantrum, sorry to the Kubiceks who did not have much luck out there, no idea what happened. In Spanish we call is “salado” which translates to “salty”, apparently it means unlucky. Maybe that was the case for them, but if they return, I will be sure to do my “catching” dance for them to throw some luck their way! Today was the first day our little Bruin went out fishing with Dad Ryan and Grampy John Donovan. They had an awesome day on the water catching Dorado, Wahoo and later in the day releasing a couple of Striped Marlin. Bruin was of course back home by then, but check out the huge Dorado he helped bring in earlier in the day….. Charles n Charles Benitez were out on ReelRum for a half day for young Gavin’s birthday. He had a great day catching plenty of Spanish Mackerel, they boated 15 in all, they also caught a Dorado and lost a Striped Marlin. A pretty eventful day for the birthday boy! Bob and Jake Sutherland were aboard RumRunnin for the day with the Jesus’. They had a great day catching 2 Dorado and releasing a Striped Marlin.
