Amigos – We
have seen some very good fishing the last week. As we entered the week of the
18th we saw some great Yellow Fin Tuna action, watching boats return with fish
in the 150 pound+ class. As the week wore on we were hit with the threat of
Tropical Storm Frank.
Luckily the
storm moved West and only caused us to miss fishing on July 24th. Low pressure
and some cooler water slowed the action down a bit but we still had some decent
fishing with a good Striped Marlin bite.
Going into
the week of the 25th after the storm, we saw some of our best action, with Blue
Marlin, Tuna and plenty of Striped Marlin action! The Pacific was hot along
Herradura and into the 1150 Bank in the Sea of Cortez. We saw warmer water and
better fishing.
We expect a
continued great week of fishing with good water temps, a little clouds and
occasional showers into the weekend. Let’s Go!!!
