WEATHER: Really nice days in the mid 80’s and lows in the ladder 60,2 to low 70’s. As pleasant as it gets with light breezes in the afternoons cooling down at night but it isn’t as cool as I remember other Novembers here in Cabo. It seems past Novembers were much cooler but this year and last year also it hasn’t cooed down like it used to. We aren’t complaining cause it’s still nice out but just not really cool yet.

WATER: Cold water should start to roll in soon!! Wow, it seems that we have a mix of cooler water and warm water still hanging in the area. It seems the Sea of Cortez side has received some cooler water. Right at Lands End of Cabo there is still some 80 to 81 degree water lingering. This is all good for the fishing as it has been really good so we aren’t complaining any.!!!Check out this link which will show you water temperatures for the southern half of Baja.

BILLFISH: Well here is what’s going on with the Billfish action!! The Marlin have moved north of Ranch Migrino and we are still seeing some great action in this area. A few Marlin are being landed in the vicinity of the Light House to San Jamie and up in and around Ranch Migrino. There has even been a few Blue Marlin landed and many Striped Marlin hitting our bait also. Live mackerel and lures seem to be hot up and around the Finger Bank for Striped Marlin and that is about 60 miles north of Cabo. We also have very full moon and it will affect the bite we know that.

DORADO: We are picking up lots of smaller Dorado from 12 to 20lbs and most are inshore tight to the beach. The Dorado fishing has really just been ok, this past week and isn’t anything like it was last week when we were landing 20lb to 40lbs all week. The Light house are to Los Arcos seems to be the best areas for Dorado the past week. I think they might have just moved further north and we are hoping to see more Dorado action coming but it could be coming to the end of Dorado season for a bit. I hope this is not the case but it’s possible!!!!

WAHOO: The Wahoo fishing is also very good up and around Rancho Migrino and most fish are being caught on rapalas using down riggers. There has been some nice fish up to 40lbs landed!!!

TUNA: The Tuna are few and far between this past week. The past 2 weeks were much better and the tournament did produce some decent fish, so we really are a little disappointed at what we are seeing right now as far as the Tuna go. The Tuna we are seeing are mostly football size fish 15 to 20lbs tight to the beach or scattered all over the place.

INSHORE: The pangas have been doing just ok and really nothing like last week. inshore for Dorado and even the Wahoo fishing has been fair, but you need to fish tight to the beach. The productive areas are from the Solmar all the way to the Pump House. Some Roosters reported landed in the surf. The Roosters were caught using live bait.
