Bad Medicine Fishing Report: April 2014

Date Published:

Cabo had the most amazing winter. The water temp never got anywhere near the normal winter low water temps (high 60’s to low 70's). We are seeing warm blue water in the high 70's and even low 80's already! The Dorado that generally head for warmer water have stayed here most of the winter. The Striped Marlin bite is super strong and getting stronger each day. We are seeing 5-10 shots per day on lures and trolled ballyhoo. We are even seeing Sailfish already, which normally arrive in July or August. Wahoo are also present as incidental catch and we landed two in early-April over 60 lbs!
