Fishing on the EL BUDSTER PRIDE. Paul Helving from San Rafael, CA catches and releases a 130 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It was attracted and caught on the live Big Eye Caballito. The fighting time was 35 minutes. It was caught on the 11-50 Reef. The water temp. was 80-82 degrees....

Been very nice all week and we can really feel the heat starting to set in over the last week and I think there is a storm down south that is maybe one of the first tropical disturbances of the season. We are not looking for any storm activity right now...

This week produced great catches that remained consistent throughout the week and some red hot fishing that we haven’t seen in months. The striped marlin bite was great at the 11.50 spot as far as Punta Gorda & multiple marlin catches per boat occurred on several days....
